Opening Keynote: Designed for Digital

Tuesday, September 17th
10:00 – 10:45

If you cannot read about “digital transformation” any more without rolling your eyes, this keynote is for you.

In this interactive talk, professor and MIT researcher Martin Mocker will talk about digital design. Martin will illustrate how big, old companies attempt to (re-)design themselves in order to deliver digital solutions that help them achieve their missions. Missions that also aim to create better futures. Using examples from Philips and USAA (don’t know that company yet? Check out their Net Promoter Scores!), Professor Mocker talks about the relevance of digital design, the challenges that come with it, and how some brave companies are addressing them.
